ZÉNITE was dreamed and realized with the special support of Casa Santos Lima.
ZÉNITE is the final installment in a trilogy of plays where the auditorium is the starting point for creation. The play premieres June 28 2024, inaugurating Teatro Zénite, an open-air theatre built from the rubble of D. Maria II National Theatre’s renovations.
The project is directed by Sílvio Vieira, in collaboration with set designer Rafael dos Santos, with the advisory of architect/set designer João Mendes Ribeiro. Produced by outro in association with D. Maria II National Theatre.
