A Invenção do Amor by Daniel Filipe proposes a dystopia: arbitrarily forbidden and persecuted, love is absent; a small outbreak constitutes a threat the size of fear – “A man a woman a poster of denunciation/ The radio has already spoken The TV announces/ We must find them before it’s too late/ Before the example bears fruit Before/ the invention of love runs riot.” Crossing the languages of journalism and theater, we propose a political and poetic reflection on censorship and resistance.
