“Courage of the Ignorant” is a choreographic project based on a research process with an autobiographical layer. As an independent artist of Turkish origin, Sezen Tonguz is interested in issues related to body politics, gender equality, non-Western knowledge systems, immigration, otherness, and cultural identity. These themes run through her personal and artistic trajectory, reflecting subtly and poetically in the creative process of “Coragem do Ignorante”.
